Hello my friends, I hope you’re all having a lovely week! The sun has – finally – made an appearance today, and fingers crossed it’s here to stay.
As promised, today I’m sharing some photos of cupcakes! I joined forces with my friend Vicky, who owns The Chipping Norton Tea Set, and did a photo shoot of the gorgeous cupcakes and cake pops she made for a wedding.
I styled a corner of her sitting room to display the cupcakes, and made the paper pompoms myself – it’s not difficult, in case you want to try that yourself, just a bit time consuming.

Vicky and I wanted to shoot the cupcakes in the garden, but the weather was terrible so we opted for her living room; at times the sky got really dark and gloomy, so some of the photos are not shot in the best light…oh well. I did my best, and I had lots of fun styling and shooting the wedding cupcakes anyway!
Vicky not only makes these gorgeous (and yummy!) cupcakes and cake pops, but she also offers vintage tea parties, with sandwiches, tartlets, scones and, of course, delicious tea, all served in lovely vintage bone china. Have a look at her website to see a gallery of her work and some sample menus (warning: you might suddenly start drooling…!).
So, what photo do you like most? And which cupcake? I’m curious…
