Since August 2020 I have been on a social media break, and I have focused all my energy in renovating our house and designing my first garden – a big sloping field full of weeds, brambles, and bracken.
I’ve really enjoyed the stillness that comes from being offline, and I actually needed it for my mental health, but I’ve also missed the sense of community that I experienced in the early days of Instagram.
I now feel ready to rejoin the online world, but Instagram and its algorithms and advertising feel utterly uninspiring.
I want to create, share, and connect from the heart, in a thoughtful, genuine, slow-paced way that’s kind to my introvert nature and that fills me – and hopefully you – with joy and inspiration.
If that’s what you want too, I invite you to join me on Substack, a newsletter and blogging platform where I just created a blog called Creative Notes.
On Creative Notes I’m going to write about my simple life in rural France, my garden project and house renovation, the seasons, creativity, and other thoughts and musings.
See you there :)
